You can engage in your child’s learning at home and school in many ways. The school council provides advice on school matters and helps to strengthen the important relationship between schools, families and their communities. The council includes family members, school staff and community members.
Parkview has been privileged to have a very involved parent community that has a positive working relationship with the school staff. Volunteerism is an important part of Parkview's school culture, as parents willingly give of their time to assist and initiate a variety of activities to support all our students.
Parkview P.S.'s school council activities involve supporting student achievement through the school plan for continuous improvement. School council meets throughout the year. Parents, guardians, caregivers and community members are always welcome to attend the meetings, to join one of the committees, or to send comments and suggestions at anytime.
